About... 


Lucy Stockton-Smith is a visual artist who specialises in creative education, enrichment activities and participatory arts events.


She is often found working with Animate Arts and Bright Shadow, while previous projects have involved Arts Catalyst, Tate Modern, Green Gathering, Royal Opera House and Creative Partnerships Kent, London, Sussex and Essex.


As a graduate from Goldsmiths College with a combined honours degree in Fine Art and Art History Lucy’s work is underpinned with a love for contemporary art and critical theory, and she is a passionate advocate to make the arts accessible and enjoyable for all.


Lucy now lives in her hometown on the East Kent coast with her two children, she champions artist mothers and enjoys a creative outlet with the local yet internationally renowned Profanity Embroidery Group.
